The granddaughter of film producer Dino De Laurentiis, TV personality Giada De Laurentiis studied at Paris' renowned Le Cordon Bleu before becoming working as a chef in several upscale Los Angeles restaurants. In 2003, she began hosting Everyday Italian, a cooking show on The Food Network that quickly became one of the cable channel's most popular programs. In 2005, in addition to Everyday Italian, De Laurentiis began hosting a second Food Network Show called Behind the Bash, which covered event catering. And in 2007, she added a third program to her hosting repertoire with Giada's Weekend Getaways.
