British-American supermodel and actress Selita Ebanks was born on February 15, 1983, in George Town, in the Cayman Islands. Selita began her modeling career at age 17 when a modeling scout at Six Flags in New Jersey discovered her. She's modeled for 'Ralph Lauren,' Levi's,' 'Abercrombie & Finch' and 'Tommy Hilfinger,' and she made her television debut on 'The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.' Selita's acting credits include a small role on the UPN sex-and-surf drama 'South Beach' and a guest appearance on 'Still Standing.' She also helped to start the Stardom Youth Foundation in the Cayman Islands.Selita Ebanks has come a long way from her humble beginnings in the Cayman Islands, where she lived in a small 'shack' with her seven brothers.
